I don't ever do dance! For some stupid reason, the uni has decided that us trainee teachers need to waste our precious time putting on a performance about our interpretation of a piece of art. And cuz I can't sing or play an instrument I got shoved with the dance group! :p The top sounds like a good idea though, thanks :)

I will be saving for Christmas and Birthdays :) (and maybe uni books if I'm really skint!)

I forgot about Bonfire Night! I love sparklers, but our cats go mental too. I feel really sorry for them cuz they look petrified and never know where to run to.

  • Your boyfriend sounds about as sensitive as mine would be Zig - "you'll look stupid" indeed! I'm sure you'll look lovely, and like Cinny says you can put a baggy top on if you feel self-conscious.

Ooh I'm not saving for anything, just for treats for me I think! :D

If it was Boots voucher I was getting it'd all be on me, but seeing how it's Amazon I'm trying to be good!

My kitty isn't too bad with fireworks, to say a shutting a book scares him! He just seems more annoyed he's been woken up than anything. OH bought us some sparklers last weekend so I'm well excited :D Need bonfire toffee though!

Lowering my STP goal for tonight to £8.00, would be 70 tracks to get to the £10 I wanted - no ta!
  • Gah! Just had new computers installed at work and can't get on Bingoport. MSE and Facebook are OK ... dooyoo ok, ebay ok .... so you can skive, but you can't gamble!

My cats are OK with fireworks too, but like yours are scared of everything else, it's bizarre!

I love bonfire toffee too! I work near Lewes which has legendary fireworks that I've never been to, but a couple of people I've spoken to have said it's the scariest thing ever - maybe it's the 50,000 burning torches or the realistic effigies they burn or the paganism...! Maybe I'll just stay in with my cat :)

I'm loving the voucher challenge, ladies! I'm nearly in, but I'll see how I feel once I've started dooyooing again - don't know why it's so hard to get back into ?! And next stop, bingoport.

Zig, I think leggings and a baggy top are a good choice and you'll be super! Although interpretative dance is my idea of hell!!

  • Bingoport is fab Poddle, really quick and easy! I know what you mean about dooyoo, I get on a roll and am OK for a bit but if I go a couple of weeks without doing one it's really hard to start again!

That display sounds fab! All the ones up here tend to get a bit chavvy with fairground rides and stuff. We're going to OH's friend's house on Friday, he's managed to get £200 of fireworks for £40 from SOMEWHERE (?) - so that should be scary to say the least!

As long as you aren't gambling! :D

Just having my last biscuit of the day then I'm off to my Nans to steal some quality streets and some Cola.. I mean err, drop the cash books off...

Going to try and sweet talk my way to some free Petrol for my Vespa. Off to fetch a Jerry can from one of the sheds and put my sad face on. :A

Will no doubt log on later, but have a nice night!

ETA: That does sound scary Poddle! I'm wanting to take OH to the Fireworks show I used to go to as a kid but the silly boy is working! It's only £4 too, and you get to ride on a train. Might drag my sister instead! :D

    Hello everyone!

Had a busy day at work today, although actually had a lot of fun aswell. Very tired now though!

Sounds like you are all busy with voucher plans, i should join in too but will have to work out a realistic target for me!

My cats are OK with fireworks too, but like yours are scared of everything else, it's bizarre!

Last year our cat sat at the window watching all the fireworks go up and then jumped a bit when they went bang, but all in all she seemed to enjoy the show :rotfl:

My credit card balance finally updated online, im under 300 pound on the natwest one!! :j
