Cinnys Spending Diary - Take 2

Thanks Poddle!
Completely lost my motivation for work today. Got a text from my Dad to say we've settled with the last guy we laid off at the start of the year, was completely on edge and feeling sick while I waited to hear what we've given him. And now I'm completely dumbstruck. Gets me soo wound up how we're only just keeping our heads above water and then we have to pay stupid money we just don't have to a guy who was plain useless.
Gonna try and forget about it and loose myself in the wonderful world of.. invoicing! Woo! Really need to try and cheer up or I won't be in money making mode later.0 -
In happier news. Got my £25 Amazon vouchers so thats my Mum sorted for Christmas and my Dads second gift bought. Just 4 presents to go now
With £4.15 left over from the voucher too.

Aw Cinny, that sucks. I guess it's swings and roundabouts, he could be someone on here saying 'I've lost my job, the redundancy money will be really useful'. I know that doesn't help you at all, especially as he was useless! It's just affecting everyone isn't it. I hope things for your company pick up.
I was just thinking, do you appreciate your hair colour? Cuz I've always hated mine.. Especially when hairdressers are like 'ooh I'd love to have your hair' and you just don't get it! But I'm watching Florence and the Machine - You've Got The Love video (fabulous version of the song!) and her hair is stunning - I love it. But that's what my hair is like so why don't I like it?!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

I know, I did feel sorry for him when we had to lay him off. He was a new daddy so I felt even worse for him then I did for the others. But the after the complete lies he was coming out with for more money that quickly went.
Have to keep a level head over it though, don't want to turn into a complete loonie like my Dad + Uncle
I spent about 4 years colouring my hair, so now I've got my natural colour back I really love it! Your hair is lovely though (I have to say, we have the best shade of ginger) so you should love it too. Florence and the Machine lady's hair is seriously nice though.0 -
I completely understand the way you feel about him/it all. At the moment it's kinda everyone for themselves in business. And families coming together more to help each out. I think it's the one good thing that's come from the recession.
What colour did you dye your hair? Ha, we do have the best shade! My sister has a really bright orangey colour and I'm secretly pleased I got the darker shade.
I usually straighten my hair, or if it's curly I chuck it up and straighten the front. But the other day I left it down and let it dry naturally and it went its normal curly self and everyone kept saying how nice it was! I think they thought I had done it especially lol. I might try it more often. It's hard to work with curly hair and a blunt fringe though, looks odd.
Yay for ginger hair!Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Just to wade into the hair colour debate, I think we all want what we haven't got! I mean, how many women dye their hair blonde, yet I have it naturally and all I want is lovely chocolate brown hair
For the record, I used to dye my hair a deep auburny colour a bit like yourselves a few years ago, and got far more compliments/flirts than I ever have as a blonde.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I think curly hair with a blunt fringe looks good. There's someone famous who goes for that look.. but I can't remember her name. That's really annoying!
Tete - I think blonde really suits you! (Well, going by FB pics!) Trying to picture you with brown hair and I just get an image of Taylor Swift in a brown wig
Erm, just about every colour! Blonde, Brown, Black, Red, Purple, Green, Blue. Had black dreadlock extensions at one point with bits of green wool rolled in. I really loved them! (In my hippy-hate-the-man days!)
ETA: Oh god, just remembered I had a mohawk at one point too! Pink on the sides and Purple on top. Was Naima Mora style over punk-rocker though.0 -
Haha, yikes! You definitely suit au naturel Cinny! Nah I'm too pale and freckly fo brown hair - it's blonde or ginger for me, and blonde is easier (can you tell I'm getting old? That said I am getting it cut tomorrow so won't feel like such a scarecrow!)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I dyed my hair blonde for years and it is now back brown again and I love it!0

I think you need the change to really love your natural colour. Now mine is back to ginger I don't know why I bothered dying it for so long! Just wanting it to grow now so I can have it all lovely and curly without looking like wartime housewife!0
