Hi everyone! I will own up now to being a lurker since Dinahs first diary :o
I've PM'd Cinny before asking for her help with STP (still not able to sign up - and they havent responded to any of my emails, boo!)

Anyway, i joined BingoPort and they didnt send me my voucher (3 emails later and they are still fobbing me off!) so not having much luck lol.
So after those failed attempts i decided to finally join DooYoo, turns out i joined in 2005! I only wrote 4 reviews and earned 4800 points (which are expired now), so i think i will start cracking on with that again.

I'm about to request a bunch of you whose usernames i recognise, if you dont mind? Just incase you're wondering who am i :D

Just wanted to say, i enjoy reading and think you're all doing great. Im just at the beginning of my debt busting journey (just under £5000 - which might not sound like LOADS but its enough for me!).

Ok so four paragraphs later...i think i'll stop now lol Hope you have a nice holiday Cinny xx
  • Hi Lulu, it always gives me a jolt when a lurker pops up on here or on Dinah's and you realise that it's not just us lot rambling on, other people read too! £5k definitely enough for anyone! Good luck with it!

Cinny you're such a sweetie, I wish you were my little sis! Hope she feels better soon! That was nice of your mum giving you a little pre-Christmas pressie too!

    Hope the car's ok Flower!

    Hi Lulu,

Nice to meet you! My debt isn't massive either, was around 4000 in total but is still hard work getting rid of it so I am sure you will work hard and get rid of that debt as soon as you can!

Hi Lulu! :D It's silly they still aren't letting you sign up - is it that the page isn't loading? Are there any other computers you could try from? I'm sure you'll have no problems clearing your debts if you work hard at it :) if you start a diary let me know!

No money making today either. Spent most of the morning trawling around different chemists in the rain trying to find someone who stocks tamiflu for my sister, but then I got a call from my sister who'd finally got through to a nurse and they don't think it's swine flu anymore. Thank gosh!

Went to Matalan too, Mum bought me a new top for looking after my sister yesterday - woo!- went to Sainsburys too get some stuff for my tea, cat food for Pip and stocked up on some more Impulse body sprays while they're £1.

Also got some Manuka Honey, got to have 4 tablespoons again and it's meant to make your skin look all lovely and combat spots. So I figure it's worth a try - and a good excuse to eat honey.

Right, off to attempt some Bingoport and watch Eastenders!!

Glad i isn;t swine flu with your sister and that she is feeling good again soon.

Let me know if the honey works, my skin is a nightmare at the moment.

Aww thanks for the welcomes everyone :D
Was working hard at getting rid of my debt, as i used to be so good with my money. But recently slipped back into a bad habit (slots :shhh: ) First time i've admitted that to anyone, other than my OH.

Off to make a sig and try and keep up with you ladies :T
  • I have a manuka honey lipbalm from Holland and Barrett- it makes my lips feel amazing! Never tried eating it though :) Maybe I should, my skin is awful at the moment as I've had a reaction to something I've been using, leaving me with a burn-type rash! Problem is, I'm not even sure what it was, so I just have to stop using everything. The only thing that helps is E45 cream, rubbish.

Can't comment on the honey yet, but I've started taking cod liver oil and just drinking water to flush all the nasties out - along with using the simple skin care stuff and a St Ives Peach scrub every other day - and it seems to be working. My skin looks a lot brighter for it anyways!

If you get the Manuka Honey make sure you get active 10+ as anything lower than this isn't classed as 'active' so won't do anything bar taste nice. Make sure it has a UMF rating too, as some places market Manuka Honey as 'active' when it hasn't been properly tested.

Anyways! No money making at all from the weekend :o Didn't even get time to do BP yesterday with looking after my sister, getting tea ready + stuff sorted for work today. I'm sure I'll catch up though, and it was pretty nice being able to spend some proper time with my sister. She's still a little sick today, so I'm going to spend the afternoon keeping her company again - but I'm going to try and get some STP done if I can.

Had a bit of a falling out with OH yesterday too, over stupid money. So hoping we make up today. But I still think I was in the right, and he still thinks he was so I'm not sure how it'll go! :o

Hope you all have a nice morning though! I'll try and log on later if I get the time x

Hopefully BingoPort will help curb that! :) I know how addictive they can be though. My OH was a big gambler but has quit and just plays on Bingoport now to get his 'fix' hopefully it'll be the same for you and save you some money for debt busting! - any news on that amazon voucher btw??
  • Hi Cinny, never mind about the moneymaking, you did get some nice MAC stuff though! Hope you make it up with OH soon, puts me really off-kilter with everything else when OH and I aren't on good terms :(
