 hello, hope someone can help. myself and my hubby live with his mum in a two bedroom flat, we all work full time, so are hardly at home, my mum-in-law was saying that for her gas she is paying 108.00 a month D/D. her electricity is 91.00 a month D/D, the heating has hardly been on, we dont use the tumble drier, could that be correct? i think thats a bit much. Could we maybe go for a meter that we get power cards, am just thinking of a cheaper option, as my mum-in-law will be moving out soon, no wonder she moans about not having any money....;)

  • Hi,

That is a guide as we SHE properbly don't know what your usuage is going to be, so we use that amount as guide for the first 6 to 12 months, and after then review your account & maybe choose a more suitable amount. If you do choose to go pre payment you won't pay anymore or anyless for your unit price (unlike any of other big 6 suppliers) but you will loose your discounts (2.5% of your unit price for paying your bill within 10 working days or 5% for Direct Debit) and if you decide to go back to credit meter after then, it will be subject to a credit search. Maybe have think about it. Then contact customer services on 0800 912 2291.

    Cheers
