daily commute london luton

hello, i am working my way through understanding season tickets and rail cards for cheap travel, but i am still a bit confused about finding the cheapest tickets to travel to luton for work before 9am from st pancras (local) 5 times a week.

    Unfortunatly there are no cheap options. That's peak commuter time so rail cards aren't valid for discounts. A season ticket will be, slightly, cheaper than buying a ticket daily.

    On my Alton-Waterloo route a monthly season ticket is about 32% cheaper than buying daily tickets for peak travel.
    If you use the underground an Oyster card saves me a few pounds (worst case) but quite a bit more for months where there are bank holidays compared to making the train ticket a travel card including tube/bus travel.
  • thanks! i had a feeling that such would be the case. the best that i could find was a monthly season ticket for around 220-250 from hendon to luton.
