Title deeds missing

Can anyone give me some advice please, I have sold my house, solicitors are doing their bit and I have found out that they dont have my title deeds, I dont have this document, land registary dont have a copy, how can I get round this can anyone give me a bit of advice, many thanks

When did you buy the house and in what local Council area is it situated?
Did you have a mortgage when you bought it?
Do you still have a mortgage? If not when was it paid off?
If you still have a mortgage is it with the same lender as when you first bought. If not when did you remortgage?RICHARD WEBSTER
