Info and advice pleeeassse
Hi everyone, I hope one of you wonderful people can help. Quick FYI: changed G&E supplier from Lloyds TSB (scottish power) in Nov 05 (were having probs with them reading the meter) to BG as they came up the best on a comparison. However, ended up paying approx £300 to LTSB as there were arrears due to lack of accepting meter readings!. So as far as we know we were staring with BG as Clear.
Just had BG bill for Feb, Mar, Apr (gas only) £262 :-O!.
I cant see how weve used this but I know well have to pay it, so my questions are..........
1. we were told (by a BG engineer) that it is cheaper to leave the heating and water on constantly (we do) could this be costing us???
2. how can we check to see if we have a gas leak???
3. How could we economise ???
We are a family of 5 (2 AD, 3 Kids (5,3 and 6 weeks)), 4 bed det. Fire (hardly used), CHeating, Water, and Hob (not oven).
Hope thats enough info, Thanks Luv Ali

I am not an expert in this but if you think you may have a gas leak you need to report it, if you do they will find one if you have one. have a look at this link

Questions 1 and 3 look the same to me, or atleast 1 is a subset of 3. Try this site for some tips

I hope you get it sorted out0
