I submitted the N245 on last Friday, still waiting to hear, guess it takes a while.

Got some bad news in the post today, Inland revenue have decided they want there £6k like yesterday, had a notice of intent for distraint, bit of a bigger that so going to have to work up to phoning them, going to save that one for next week.

Its all a bit daunting, cant believe just how bad its got and just how stupid I have been. When I get out of this pit, I am going to be such a big anti credit preacher Reckon I am going to sound just like an ex smoker.

Hi all.

Just a quick update here.

Had my interview with CCCS, they are superb. Downside is it really highlighted just how much of a mess I am in, upside is, I know just how much of a mess I am in. I cant believe the difference between these people and Kensington, about a million times more helpful.

They have advised bankruptcy, pretty much as I had expected. This is a bit of a downer but it is good to knwo for certain and to hear it from people who deal with this sort of thing every day. The info pack came through next day and I am starting the online form filling at the insolvency website.

So hopefully, in about two weeks time, I will have all this mess fully under control and have some idea of where the future is going. At least now I feel like I have one.

Well its taken longer than I expected but I have my Bankruptcy meeting at the court on Tuesday (22nd). No idea what to expect, dont even know how long I will be there. Know I will be £475 lighter but it needs to be done. Really anxious about it a the mo.

Good luck on Tuesday - you're bound to be anxious about it but I'm sure it will be a relief when it is done.

Hope all went well and you now feel better for it!!!!! It must be a big relief to know you have gained some control again. Debt has a nasty habit of making you feel out of control even though you think you are in control at the time!!!
