Joint name loan, am I liable?

Hi there,
My husband and I split nearly 3 years ago. Just before I left him we took out a loan in joint names, this was purely to pay off hos business account overdraft and the inland revenue for his business tax. I left before the cheque arrived and didn't see one penny of it.
Even though it was taken out in joint names and I can prove I didnt see a penny of it, am I still liable to it?

Unfortunately as the loan is in joint names then you are both fully responsible for it meaning that the loan company can ask you to pay the full amount even though you had no benefit from it.0
