virgin broadband

my internet explorer provider is virgin media.have logged on pc but it says the link to virgin media is broke .so there web page will not display .yet at the bottom of my screen it says currently connected to local & internet.but i am still able to use the pc it lets me log on to web pages and my internet banking .it has me baffles any ideas :confused:

    Have the same problem , email seems to be down.

    Lets give Virgin a chance to correct the problem

    Can't access my Virgin email and their whole website is down. Seems to be affecting a lot of people!

    should all be back up now, refunds for a day's lost service should be in the post.. not.

    As you were able to access the rest of the web, you didn't loose your service, only access to you email account & Virginmedia's website. so why would you expect a refund?.

    Just remember, computers do break-down, even those belonging to ISPs.

  • Usenet seems really sucky at the moment too, large binaries are riddled with errors to the point of being unuseable.

    dont mean to be picky but when you say internet explorer provider you mean ISP or internet service provider and your web browser is internet explorer but you can change your browser when you want
