Will i get charged interest on this transaction?

Hi there made a payment on my card of £1500, wasnt planning on paying of (i do have the money to but need for something else) my statement date is 15th with Egg, the date of transaction was the 13th will i get charged interest on it, as was planning on putting balance on a 0% for 6 months? Can anyone help?

You haven't made it very clear,do you mean, is the current card you have put your £1500 on a 0% card?
"Payment" I think you mean a purchase?
You would incur no interest charge as long as your card is a 0% on purchases,otherwise you would be charged interest.
Best to phone Egg and they will clarify your situation for you.
Or post again but in more detail and someone with answer your questions.0 -
Am also confused as to your posting, but if you have made a £1500 purchase on the card and its not a 0% offer, yes your statement will show the estimated interest that will be added but if you pay the £1500 in full before your payment due date, then no interest paid. If the transaction was on the 13th, it may not show on this months statement.0
