That's very true Zed. DD is a brilliant drawer-draws wonderful pictures and is also great in sports. So I guess it swings in roundabouts. I was always crap at sports but was reading novels at 5 years old...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0

I can't draw for toffee - crap at physical activity - but was reading the TV guide out to people when I was pre-school...
The important thing is that she enjoys school - like work, she will spend the majority of her day for the majority of the week for the majority of the year there. And like work, if you hate it, it's a right pain.

So she is not average in lots of things! She has many talents and a child that can express herself and have a vivid imagination to draw is wonderful...it will get her a long way in life. Praise her for the talents she has, not the ones she doesnt iyskim (you know this so I'll shut up). Hey Beanie love, really trying to make it up to Edinburgh for that weekend!
I have tried every diet under the sun and it was always a 'I will do this and lose this and then life will be great' which clearly DOES NOT WORK! I was miserable most of the time!
