IB and ESA

Is it true that ESA is a higher rate than IB?
If so, why?

I dont know the answer but im 24 and im on ESA, i will be getting £76 per week (just passed medical) it was £50 per week, when i turn 25 in 8 weeks will go up to £89 per week.

It depends on age, length of claim, severity of condition etc. In some cases IB is more, and in others ESA is more.

That would depend on individual circumstances. For some (IMO a minority), it could be seen as easier.
