New Drivers Car Insurance

Gosh looking for car insurance for my son, a toyota yaris 1.3 on X plate and it comes out at £1500 which is the same price as the car. Thats with Quinn anything else is £2000+ although many say Quinn is not very reputable. Anyone know any better deals to reduce, Ive tried all the supermarket sites on Money Saving Expert, help appreciated as dads going to end up paying as usual.

how old is your son, you tried adding yourself as a 2nd driver,0 -
Have you tried Churchill?
I found mine very expensive on my 03 Reg Fiesta. Was about £1700. I don't know who said Quinn is reputable, i know a few people with them and they haven't had any problems. I also think you will be lucky to get less than 1500... But yeh, try Churchill. Hope that helps.0 -
