From April, anyone who is unemployed will be able to claim their portion of £10million of new funding from the Adviser Discretion Fund, available from Jobcentres.

It is from the Adviser's discretionary Fund (ADF).

Yeah you should go to the LA and ask for the extended payment - they will want to know if the job is expected to last 5+ weeks and it you will get 4 weeks run on.
