Humax will not fast forward

Not sure if anyone can help me, I have a humax digibox, and have had a problem on a couple of ocassions lately, that when I go to playback a program it appears as though I am watching "live" and will therefore not let me fast forward through the recording. Does anybody else have this problem, and any ideas about how to fix it ? I have also had issues recently that the series link option has not always worked - and although some episodes of a series record, it simply stops recording later episodes - as if they are not part of the same series - any thoughts ? Thanks.

seems to be issues with Humax at mo. I have this problem with 9200 and others have had problems as reported on digitalspy forums

mine goes funny from time to time and is unresponsive to any command, turning it off for a while or a power off reset seems to clear it for a while

I would agree, sometimes mine goes awol. Just turn it off, unplug the ariel. Turn the unit on and do a channel search, save the results. Turn the unit off again, replace the ariel, do another channel search and normally all seems ok.
