Last night purchased a Terry Turtle from Amazon for my OH's birthday for just over £15 with free month's Prime membership meaning that it should arrive tomorrow. Went back to Amazon to find a present on behalf of my mum to find out that it's now down to £12.99, the price it was on play.com last night but which could take up to 10 days to actually deliver (need it for the weekend). It's not a big change but I'm a little miffed, only ordered it at 1130 last night. just having a little rant, I know amazon are perfectly entitled to change prices as and when they like but it's annoying!!!! :cool:

It's annoying, especially now they've stopped their post purchase price promise.

But people are buying their stuff constantly. Whenever they put their prices down, some people are going to be unfortunate enough to have ordered just before.

It works the other way too. A few times in the past I've put something in my basket to save to buy in a few days, only to get the message "xxxxx has increased from £16.00 to £19.00" or something. Bah humbug!
