looking to refit 3 ensuites with baths and showers what hourly rate do you think a plumber would charge?

I would not do bathroom refits on a hourly rate
Fixed quoted price only
If you supply material it could go horribly wrong when you have tradesmen fiddling there thumbs when you either dont have the material or have unsuitable material

I agree on the price base - get a quote for the job, or you could be signing a blank cheque. But most plumbers I have used want you to buy the suite etc. yourself. Good idea to discuss the suite that you want when the plumber visits to give a quote.0
