paypal dispute?

sorry for this everyone, i know im completely dumb when it comes to ebay and paypal!
As some of you know, i ordered some lights, they dont work, emailed seller, no response, went through ebay dispute and still no response so logged a paypal claim.
STILL waiting on a response.
Have looked at the users id today and noticed that it had dropped in feedback score. few people complaining that they have recieved faulty goods, no communication and no refund.
If he doesnt reply to the paypal dispute do i automatically lose my money?

as above! the seller has a certain amount of time to respond to the claim you are making - paypal will hold your money from the seller until a resolution is made. if you want to,you can escalate (spell check) your claim which usually goies in the buyers favour, so you sholuld get a full refund in time. hth!

Just did that after i put in the post on here lol i have been very premature in opening a case, but i emailed the dude loads to see what address to send it back to and havent had a response. Ive never ever had to send anything back before so wasnt sure about the time scales of things and i paid £15 for it, ok so £15 isnt alot but it is to me and dont want to lose it!
If they had only just fricking replied with an address for me to send it to this could have been sorted by now
