Advice requested again please :)

Its a long story lol but I have ended up swopping my ipod nano with a friend for what I thought would be a temporary basis but its gone on a bit.........anyway mine was set up to sync with my Macbook and auto synched when i plugged it in. His is synched to a PC and I guess it did the same. I would like to put my playlists onto his ipod without it wiping all his stuff off. Can anyone give me a non scary guide as to how to do this and will my mac be able to recognise a PC set up ipod?

Thanks in anticipation .........I need my tunes back lol:D

your IPOD can only be synced to one library at a time . Syncing to a new library will wipe off all the tracks currently on the I POD from the other library .

and a windows formated I pod will work on a Mac , but a Mac formatted I Pod won't work on windows i believe . this will mean completly resetting the Mac Ipod to use it on windows .

someone might give you a way to what you want to do , but you cannot do it with I tunes .
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

Do yourself a favour and manually manage the music on your iPod. Then it won't helpfully offer to erase all your music anytime you plug it into a different computer.
