Try Googling the model(s) you have in mind and it will bring up price comparison sites like Kelkoo and Pricerunner.
GPS Warehouse is worth checking.0 -
Are you wanting to know which is the cheapest one and which is the best one? Or do you want to know the cheapest price for the best one? Or the best balance of cost and performance (which is very subjective)? All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Cheapest is a pirate copy of tom tom mobile and run it on a s60 mobile phone with a £40 gps unit off ebay total cost about £40 not including the phone you can get he nokia n70 free with most providers.
The best? Tom Tom Go 910 aparently it seems to be winning awards. 20GB drive loaded with US, Canada and europe maps.0 -
I agree Little John,
Tomtom all the time, Garmin once cornered the market but in the last few years TomTom have come up a few gears in the personal GPS stakes,
I personally have the original TomTom Go, bought two years ago and More than adequate for my needs, It originally came with UK maps but have since upgraded to the whole of europe, No bluetooth but i can live with that,
Yes the go 910 is the top of the range at the moment but so is the price,
Lambo28 let us know what you want from a GPS
eg UK maps or Europe or US/Canada
Bluetooth
walking with it or always in car
this way we can look to better serve your needs

If you want to get where you are going go for a TomTom. Anything else will ensure you end up 50 miles away from your desired destination.0

The Garmin i3 is then what you are after. It is the best value for money out there (£129). Read more about it here:

As an avid Tom Tom user since v2, now v5, I can vouch for its efficiency. However, it is not infallible. No sat nav is, because of mapping errors. My view is 95% of the time Tom Tom gets me to the door, 4% of the time it will get me within 100 yards and 1% of the time I am completely lost! But in reality it is far less than 1%, and would highly endorse Tom Tom.
The oxy moron is cheapest and best GPS. Tom Tom has had a hige amount of money thrown at it, and it has got signifcantly better at each release. If you really want something worthwhile and meaningful, with upgradability, then it has to be Tom Tom.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

Just backing up what has been said before, Tom Tom all the way, I have tried a few different apps on my PDA and I always return to tom tom mainly becasue the map update can be aquired with a little search, Points of interest are widely available. the GO units you see everyone with has made GPS available to almost everyone before that you had a PDA and they are mainly for us geeks who like to play with gadgets. or only the expensive options that come built in to cars.
You wont pick up the best unit cheap at the moment as it is fresh on the market but you shoudl be able to get the older Tom tom go 700 as they should be dropping the price due to the new release.0
