Every car has it's own resonant frequency, yours is 60 mph.
    Or your tyres need checking....

Sounds like tyres need checking that they are inflated correctly or tracking may be out
  • Have the tyres checked but the most likely cause is wheel balancing needds doing.

Front wheels are out of balance.

Most tyre fitting people will do it.for you.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

    Don't go to Quick Fit.

It is usually done when new tyres are fitted as part of the deal, but I would ring arround some tyre fitters and ask.

Under a tenner I would imagine.

99.9% certain it is wheel balance.
  • Just to let the OP know I've been having this problem, had both my front wheels balanced today for the cost of only £10, a nice smooth ride again now :)
