Hi all

Have got a Sony TFT monitor in need of a power supply with an output of 18V and 3.33A.

Does anyone know where I can buy one for less than about £20? I've checked Maplins' website and they don't seem to have anything suitable.

Thanks
Dan

Thanks, I tried there but the only power supplies they sell are internal PC ones.

Searching for 'Kettle power cord' might yeild better results as thats the proper name for those leads (assuming its the the plug thing with 3 holes (slits)).
    I'm better off without you.

Thanks, yes I will need one of those (or have probably got one somewhere - maybe plugged into the kettle!) but the bit that's proving hard to find is the transformer that takes the power from the kettle-type power cord and converts it to 18V and at least 3.33A.
