Makeover Runner-up Prize....Help Needed!

I had this famous call today too! A well spoken young lass phoned approx 5pm... said I had won a runners up prize of a photo shoot, hair, makeover, and free print, said I would need to bring a few changes of clothes for the day, she seemed really friendly.... obviously from being around these comps boards for a few years now I sensed it was a scam... I politely told the woman I had just had hip surgery, and she seemed extremely empathetic and said I could take the makeover whenever suited me, she was just about to leave her number so I could book whenever i was well enough and she quickly changed her mind and suggested she emailed me all i needed to know instead..... naturally I havent received this email...... and I doubt I ever will No love lost

I imagine that it's a scam were you have to pay lots of cash for the actual photo's they take...

I got an email the other day saying I was a runner up in this comp and that they'd been trying to contact me by phone (they haven't).
I think it's just a promotion which most if not all entrants have been offered.
I deleted the email.
