been charged for 7yrs after cancelling

hi i would really like any help on this tricky one i have! right here it goes .am with barcleys i have a c/card i rang them up and said to them when did i cancell my ppi which by the way never knew i had they said sept 2002 lol so i said wel why the hell have u been debiting my card upto 7 years later they could not give me a straight answer so to cut a long story short they told me theirs nothing they can do as its my fault for not picking up on it until now (7yrs later) in a way i suppose they are right but as am in abit of debt i sort of ignored reading my statements as direct debit was set up wrong i know but still feel ripped off by barcleys for not furfilling my request for ppi to be stopped how do i stand in claim my money back or dont i any one help pls

Did you really not check or query a statement for 7 years?

stupid i know.but the c/ard ppi was with goldfish then morgan and stanley which are all took over by barcleycard now . foolish i know

...........But it was charged on every statement you got - I can see why they are telling you to get lost on the refund!

To be honest I think you are a troll because I don't believe a telephone operator would be able to tell you when you cancelled PPI cover when it is obvious it was not cancelled.

So you can cancel now but reclaim - not a hope in hell.

wel your wrong about the phone operator because she told me that the policy was cancelled back in 2002 not me tellin her anyway
