Interesting 4th Date daytime activities Leeds...

Hi,

As title suggests I am looking for interesting daytime "date" ideas for Leeds!

We've already done local park so that is out! I'm not keen on art galleries or museums either!!

He has a car so something just outside Leeds centre would be fine. We're both in our late 20's, just in case that makes any difference! It's all still a bit new so want to suggest somewhere that's fun, quite laid back but still gives us chance to talk/get to know each other, and most importantly CHEAP!!! He earns a lot more than me but I always pay my own way and i'm a bit skint!! :o

Help!!

Thanks in advance

  • Never been to Leeds, but what about this? Just googled Leeds days out and this is first up. Didn't look properly but there seems to be some sort of tropical world there too. http://www.roundhaypark.org.uk/roundhay-park-events.html
  • Have you thought of Temple Newsam.

It can be as cheap or expensive as you like. If you have a Leeds Card then entry to the house and Home Farm are free. If you don't then it's a couple of quid for each, but there is plenty to see and do without paying.

You can take a picnic or use the tea rooms. Careful where you park - the House Car Park is £3.60 but all other ones are free. If you turn left after going through the main gates from the Whitkirk entrance it takes you to a free car park at the back of the farm.

Plenty of grounds for nice romantic walks or go and tickle the pigs in the farm! :D

You cannot live as I have lived an not end up like me.

Oi you lot - please :heart:GIVE BLOOD  - you never know when you and yours might need it back! 67 pints so far.

  • Thanks for replies! We did Templenewsam on Sunday (had lovely day!) so don't want to do that again yet! Roundhay is lovely but I can't do Tropical World, am asthmatic so really struggle to breathe in there!

Boat trip is a great idea - I love boats! Will def do some research!

    Thanks again for suggestions! X

  • How about Xscape at J32 if you like skiing or sledging? Could be fun? Not sure how much it is. The retail park is next door for shopping and there is a Nandos and other cafe/reataurant/bars.
