What's the best savings account for me?

Hi, I wonder if any one that knows more than I do could give me some advice? I've just filled up my ISA for this year and now I want somewhere to save the rest of my money. I don't have a lump sum to pay in yet, but will be hoping to pay up to £500 each month into savings. I want to get my own place soon and so in the next 6 months I will probably need to withdraw my savings - therefore I need an account that I can a) withdraw from at least once, b) not be tied into paying a certain amount for a whole year and c) pays interest monthly.
