Paying off more than your monthly balance to "increase" credit

Also make sure you credit money before the statement date if your DD is set to pay in full otherwise your DD amount might not be adjusted e.g, Your statement is printed and you need to pay £2000, you credit £500 manually afterwards but the DD will still remain at £2000. Could put you in positive balance and cost you overdraft fees if you don't have the money in your account.0
