Problem with my Paypal account...

I have registered my paypal account, confirmed everything except the address. The problem is that as I live at my new address I do not have a telephone number for paypal to contact me by phone to confirm my address!

Is there anyway around this?

Hi.

Having just checked the paypal site, it appears that paypal confirm your address through third parties. Mentioned on the site is confirming your address against the one held by the credit card company.

So in an answer you dont need them to ring you

They would need to ring you to verify your account to allow you to send more than the initial £500 limit. If you don't need to remove the limit yet - there's no need to verify your account.

Other than this, your address will be confirmed by your credit card address.
