Selling a Private Number Plate

I have a private number that I need to sell. Does anyone know of any sites that BUY number plates as opposed to trying to sell them on your behalf. If they exist I am sure that I probably wouldn't get as much for it but 'a bird in the hand is worth more in the bush'. (I need the cash!) Thanks

contact all the private places that come up on a google search, put it on ebay

what is the plate out of interest, pm me if you dont want it on this forum

Hi - I have tried to Google over the last few days but only get the big boys who want to sell on my behalf. What does pm mean - sorry I've only ever done 1 other post.

Sell it privately. all of the number plate dealers work on a commision basis.

None of them, as far as I am aware will actually buy a number plate.

Any figure that they quoted you will be way over the top and will not reflect it's real value.

Sell it on ebay is your best bet.
And remember...if there is an A in the reg at the beginning...it's worth that little bit more
