Just a warning if you're on Version 6 of EDF's online tariff. Apparantly they've 'rejigged' version 5 making it significantly cheaper than version 6. No problem to switch if you ask, but they are of course not actively telling existing v.6 customer about it. Saves me about £90 a year.

Where have you been for the last few months????

I think this has been available since end of July. I don't imagine online 6 customers were contacted directly, but there was plenty of reponse in the media both good and bad (due to cheap price but In Area customer exclusion).

Not sure if that tariff has a tie in term but I wouldn't swap to anything that has a cancellation fee until the end of November as there is an online price war still raging.
