How much for Stripping and retiling a roof?

Hi all,
I was just wondering if anyone could give me an idea of how much it would cost to strip and retile our roof? I don't want to call people in for a quote if the price would be something I haven't got enough money for yet!
It's starting to leak (you can see daylight from the loft!) and concrete dust pours on you when you go up in the loft too!
Our house is a bog-standard 1930's 3 bed semi, well if you can call the 3rd bedroom a room - more like a cupboard!! LOL
Any idea would be greatly appreciated.

Well I'm sure loads of men wouldn't charge you anything to strip but I don't know about the retiling
I haven't got one!0 -
I was just working on a job where they had this done it was about 3 grand0

I'd better keep saving then! LOL I've got about £2k saved but keep putting off getting it done as I can't bear to spend my savings on something so boring as a roof!!
Now a luxury holiday or a newer car would be a different story.......!!!!
Also i tried looking for a roofer on the buy with confidence website and they didn't have any listed for our area! (damn)0 -
Snap - was looking for the same thing - price isnt as bad as I had thought - was thinking £5k0
