Hello
4 weeks ago when life was good, I booked a holiday to goa with travel republic paid a £290 deposit and the balance was to be paid on 2nd Oct.
On 18th September my OH was given 30 days notice of redundancy, so have canceled the holiday.
I am just wondering can we get out deposit back travel republic have said no, we do have the travel insurance with our bank account, but am wondering is it worth persuing or just put it down to bad luck!

You may be in luck - the halfax online policy appears to cover cancellation for redundancy.
If you bought in branch it may or may not be different.0 -
