Can I receive any Council Tax Benefit or Housing Benefit?? I am on my third year at university and was wondering if I can get anything from the government as I work part time only.

If you're a full time student you're exempt from paying council tax anyway. You can't receive any benefits unless you're a lone parent or disabled.0

I think if you are over 18 and unemployed, you are entitled to job-seeker's allowance, which in itself is not much but i think gives you a better standing in terms of housing and council tax benefit. However this will only apply while you are unemployed and therefore may be detrimental if you wish to stop/start work now and then.0

If you're a full time student then you aren't eligible to claim JSA!0
