Before anyone says it this model has been discontinued which is why it has been reduced
https://www.empiredirect.co.uk have the sony htk250 home theatre kit for the great price of £149.99 delivered. THIS DOESN'T INCLUDE A DVD PLAYER, it is just the amp and speakers to connect to your existing equipment. It retailed at comet/currys for £329.99. It also scored 96% in the whathomecinema magazine baed on a £300 asking price!! (pdf format)

Not a bad price with some great reviews - there isn't much info around anymore as like I said it has been discontinued and when it is gone its gone - may order one (I understand there is a kit @ argos for £75!). ;D
Official insert: As often happens with these bargains the kit seems to have sold out. If you want to get in early the email is usually posted on the site on Wednesday evenings before it's sent out

What do you mean - says in stock?? They have more than one - when this stock has gone there will be no more or does it say out of stock to you??:j :j0 -
I dont want this but i thought i would check and it says in stock when i had a look0

One thing I think we've all learned is not to trust the words "IN STOCK" when they are on the Empire Direct website. Remember the 75% off sale they had?
A good spot though... I hope that they do actually have them in stock and you get one!

Yes I remember that ::) Wasn't that impressed with them but at this price I thought I would give them another chance. Had a call confirming delivery for the 4th/5th so not bad. They have 32 left at the moment but he said they are selling quickly (no idea if that is true) Found it on the dvdforums a huge post on it from a few months back - sold really quickly but they have obviously managed to get more stock (I am assured it isn't returned or refurbished):j :j0 -
Empire Direct are a good and reputable company - I've bought off them many times before with no complaints.
You're possibly confusing it with Empire Stores who had that big sale which was a farce.
just thought I'd point this out as this system is great value.0 -
Ya wrong mate, Empire Direct did have a sale where their stock system was not live and so had a few problems.
In saying that, i've ordered twice from them before and noth times they have been 100%.
I even managed to get a refund when i mistakened a brand new product to be opened. They still got a courier to collect and refunded me quite quickly.A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

All the reviews say it is a great Home Cinema Set!
Looking forward to it!
Need to buy a TV now though.0 -

Yes, think it was June - was going to order one then but they sold outObviously found more stock from somewhere. Would have been nice if they lowered the price a little but the free delivery is worth a tenner
