On a roll! £1200 rent saving

Options
Hi I am a new member and on a roll to save money!

This week I have managed to bargain with my landlord and knock him down a £100 a month! Thats a saving of £1200 a year. I did this by explaining that I was thinking of moving, but if he was to re think the rent I would reconsider. I pointed out that it might take him some time to rent the place and the cost in advertising. It was like taking sweets from a baby!

I am not on a roll and looking for other big money saving ideas! watch out!!!

  • Just make sure he can still pay the mortgage and you don't end up being evicted by the mortgage lender :(

Well done though. If you don't ask, you don't get :)

Is he a big property person? Because it feels kind of wrong really :(
