I've always had Norton on my pc and it has worked with no problems. I've been told by friends to get a different make but I feel, if it aint broke dont change and the Macafee that came with our new Dell has just expired (it was a pain in the a**e)
Amazon look about the best for price but should I take a chance by waiting for the delivery of it or act now and buy a download from somewhere? I have no intention of downloading anti virus from a file share as I think that's just asking for trouble.
The package I'm looking at getting is Norton Internet Security 2006 or is there a better one they do?

yep AVG is a great free antivirus, and use sygate for a firewall,
however if you want to use norton, ebuyer have it on OEM for £22inc vat http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/1030650 -
Another vote for AVG free. I used to buy McAfee becuase I thought paying for an AV would give me better protection. I've had no problems with AVG. As a double check you can always use one of the online scanners such as TrendMicro Housecall.0
