New car - Big discounts

Hi there

First thread in this particular forum, I normally keep in Savings, Housebuying and Mortgages etc.

Hope you can help and it is in the right board................

I am thinking of buying a car and came accross these two websites -

http://www.uk-car-discount.co.uk/

and

http://www.buyanewcaronline.co.uk/

Basically, I was looking into buying a new Mazda 3 TS 1.6 Diesel
On the road price from Mazda with metallic paint is £16, 145....

On the road price from a Uk dealer but through the website above is £13,933 some £2152 savings.

I just wanted to know if anyone had experience of these sites.
Hope you can help
:rotfl:

Through the dealer network Mazda are offering 0% finance over 3 years with 50% deposit. That's worth quite a bit.
I've been able to get as good and sometimes better deals at a main dealer for Mazda and BMW.
Take your discount information with you (£2152) and ask the dealer for £2500 off. When they say no tell them you've found a deal for £2200 off but you would rather deal with them but will go elsewhere if you have to. See how close to the £2152 they can get. If they give you most of £2000 it might be worth sticking with them.

That's how I play it anyway and had 8% off a new £30K BMW for my Mum this time last year (when times were a bit harder for car sales) and got a price match on a Mazda 6 for my wife some years before.
  • Hi,

I'm asked the same questions yesterday.

It appears certain that some of these companies are genuine, the question though is: is the one I give my deposit to genuine?
  • I can recomend drive the deal. They are brokers who just get you a good deal - you then deal direct with a main dealer.
