I got what I asked for - but when I asked for a christmassy jar I got a christmas wreath green one. Never thought it would smell of fresh pine - the thought of which can almost make me sick, I can't stand the smell of it!!! Should have been a bit more specific

BUT parcel delivered in one piece, quickly and the rest of the parcel was well worth it for £10. The burner is fab!! :)

Not really the response you are looking for but just thought I would say that I bought two sets off ebay and then went direct to the store posted on the first link and ordered loads of samplers and wax tarts at really reasonable prices they also have a warehouse clearance where they sell things cheaper and you can pay with paypal. Personally speaking if there is no reply to the email address or phone number I wouldnt be given my money to them dosnt sound right. Hope this helps

I got the set from Ebay and was happy with it, but wanted to make up some presents using some of the things out of it and some others of my choice. I looked at their website but the Wax tart burners I wanted say they are out of stock which is why I wanted to order from The little shop of light as they have them in stock, also their tarts are cheaper.
    I suppose I'll just have to have a re-think.

    Thanks

On the Yankee tart burners it says to only use Yankee unscented tea lights. I know that this is probably only to get you to buy theirs, but has anyone tried any other unscented tea lights in theirs and do they work ok?
Giving some burners away for Christmas presents and want to get some tea lights to go with them.

    TIA

Yup, I've a huge bag of tealights I got from a poundshop. They work fine. ;)

Thanks for that, I forgot about the pound shop, I nearly bought some today from Argos, they were 100 for £2.99. Didn't really need 100, so didn't buy. Thought I'd look at supermarket ones first.
Now you've reminded me, I'll have a look at the poundshops near me, see if they have any. I suppose B&M might sell them too.

I've been 'tart burning' for ages and no need whatsoever to buy the Yankee tea lights. Some of the cheaper tea lights can be bit of a false economy though as they are 'shallower', with poorer quality wax and don't burn for long. I'm not equating 'cheaper' with 'pound shop' since, as I and my cupboards know only too well, you can end up with some good quality stuff. However, I'd be inclined to give the ones that are only about half an inch deep a miss. If you're nearby, IKEA do a good sized box of good quality tealights for a decent price.

Thanks, I am not too far from an Ikea, will look in there when I'm passing.
I had actually thought about that when I saw the Argos ones, which was another reason I didn't buy those today.

There's a Yankee shop at the Mcarthur Glen outlet at Mansfield - Junction 28 M1. Can't say I've been in though.
