I got mine today (the ebay £10 set).
Not happy at all with it:(:(:(:(

I asked for the plainest (cream, white, silver, etc) options they could provide.

I got the large green burner which I asked for as it was the plainest option, so not too bad.
I got a gold plate:eek: Was hoping for silver.
Them little Jewelled glasses I got the purple ones.
The little tiny tea-light holders, they send me 2 horrible fuchsia things:eek::eek::eek::eek: Your white with flowers ones are much nicer.

I got an Xmas wreath for the jar candle & its horrible (I asked for the sun & sand one)
I got a juicy orange & lavender sage for the short fat candles:rolleyes:
I got a blueberry scone for the cupcake one and a pink, green, yellow & pale blue tea-lights.

    So I'm really disappointed:(

The advert was updated over a week ago saying you couldn't request which items you wanted any longer as they were too busy. So if you wanted specific items you should have ordered from the none ebay one.

I've received 3 different set and they are very similar to your picture but i didn't request and specific items as i'd read the ebay listing.

    Thats not my picture.
    Thats someones elses.

Picture as in the picture in your post, which you obviously quoted from someone else. still makes no difference should read adverts more clearly.
  • i didn't say you couldn't express your opinion i was just pointing out that the advert clearly states you can't request specific items. Therefore your disappointment at not receiving items you requested is not the fault of the seller.
I was just pointing out that you can't request specific items so that other people don't make the same mistake.
  • Thanks for this.

I've ordered the red and green ebay set. I had a £3 ebay plus point voucher too so it only cost me £7.

    Can't wait. I love candles :T
  • To update I ordered some candles from the main website, ordered on Tuesday 13th arrived today all lovely. I ordered their special clearance offer of 5 samplers for £3.00 ( actually i ordered 2 packs) the ones i got do not seem very dusty and are basically the ones listed in current ebay offer. So I received 1 each (per pack) of:
    Juicy Orange
    Lilac Blossoms
    Granny Smith
    Tangerine
    Lavander Sage
I am very pleased with speedy delivery, packaging of my items and actual products ordered. I can see a candle obsession beginning:D
Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:

I did like my pack. Wish they did ones with just the candles in though )(other than the samplers one) as I would love a better smelling jar but don't want another burner or any more tealight holders! Between these and Partylite my boyfriend thinks I'm trying to burn the place down
Never give up the dream!
  • There's a shop in Huddersfield called 'Mellow Moments' opposite the side entrance to BHS where a lot of Yankee Candle items are really cheap - the xmas stuff seems to be full price though still. Jars start from £4, tarts from 55p, tealights £3.50 a box can't remember what else but worth a look if you live near by.

    You know what.

Perhaps I haven't been fair to the company.

I've deleted my message, would you like to delete yours with my quotes?

I received mine yesterday, very happy with them. It is going to be a chore deciding which bits to keep and which to give away for Christmas
If I have been of any assistance, or my information is useful, please press the "Thanks" button :)
  • I have just ordered one from Ebay, looking forward to getting it.
