Motorpoint or trade-sales slough

motorpoint of derby have their own auction days at the car auctions in derby, these are for all the part exchanges they dont put on the forecourt.I have heard that the margins they work from are really small but rely on quick turnover, so I would not expect trade-in values to be that good.0

I don't think these big supermarkets want your trade-ins so they give you
really poor prices. Part of the problem is that most of the guys working there are not salesmen, they are ordertakers and have no idea how to negotiate
with customers or how to value a car.
If you want to buy from them, then you are best to sell your own privately.
If you don't want to do that, by all means check out the cost of their cars
against your car but I think you will probably get a better deal from your local dealer0
