Next Directory PPI Claim

I have apparently been paying PPI on this account for 19 years and didn;t realise it. I have written to Next and they are not playing ball according to them for a cupole of years there was an opt out clause on the invoice ( i never noticed it)

Has anyone had any success taking these people on?

    Hi and welcome.;)

Maybe its the insurers you can write to on this one, the FOS if no joy with the lender are also suggesting this direction as well.
Do you know who the insurers were?

If not contact next and they should be able to give you the details on who to write to.

However, it may be more difficult to receive a refund going back as far as 19 years, but even if you requested for the last 6 should also help.

And yet many on here have been successful going back as far as the late 90's, that is possibly with banks though, but give it a go, try to ask for the insurer details as well.

Hopefully for anyone who have been dealing with them, will post up as well, good luck and please keep us posted, cheers.;)

  • Just a quick update Next still not playing ball but I have established who the insurance company are.

Today the FOS has agreed to persue my complaint with the insurer on my behalf

I wonder if you would let me know the name of the insurers for next, have given me a a company called Groupama, I have had a reply from then, saying they are not liable for the sale of PPI, can you let me know how you got on.
