Swedish Massage - TSUNAMI APPEAL

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I am offering a full swedish massage all proceeds from which will go to the above appeal.

I live in the Bradford area so obviously bidders will need to either be local or able to travel to Bradford.

If you know anyone who may like to bid please send them the below link.

And maybe for those who can't afford to donate auctioning could be a way of contributing.

Just exactly how much is the donation to be? the full auction value? I notice you don't state in the auction.

Or is this just your idea of a cheap way of drumming up busines?

Oh isn't it clear - it is an auction to the highest bidder - no it's not a way of drumming up business I can't start this business until my daughter goes to school in 2 years.

Could it not just be that I am raising money? Not sure how it would drum up business as there is no business name there, it states very clearly that the donation will be given whilst the person is there.

However if it isn't explained properly then I need to change it - how isn't it clear?.

It is a bit cheap to ask this question! Did you ask it of others.. on this forum with fund raising ideas?

Fair play to you TD, do what you can, eh.
  • Agreed, good on you for helping out. I read the auction and it was clear to me you wanted the winner to see the cash had been donated properly whilst present.

I think my question was a pertinent one, how much is going to the charity? it wasn't stated in the auction was it? or do you think this is something that should not  be enquired about, I am all for supporting the Tsunami appeal, if the total amount is to be donated then fair enough state it so and you'll hear no more from me.

And I don't need you to excuse me either El Barto thank you very much

    Good on you mate.

As no one else has asked yet, does the massage come with any 'extras'?  :D :o

It's a point though, you can't help being cynical... everybody is hopping onto that bandwagon now. I went shopping in Reading yesterday and dodgy-looking donut stall on Broad Street had "Tsunami Donations" written in felt pen on cardboard box in serving window. Could have been legit I suppose...

I think there was another question as well!

Are you from the fund raising police?

Fair point made there are a lot of charlatons out there - I have amended the auction to show my intentions - the highest bidder will be there to see me pay the donation to DEC via the internet and it will be the full amount bid.

I hope that is now clear on my auction.
