friend works full time on dla your allowed....as too job leaving in sickness...my brother is in same sort of thing as o/p..loads of operations his tummy is like a patch work quilt....has to have opps every 5 years and has really struggled to stay in work for the last 30 years .Loses most of his holidays to cover his sick day !.has never claimed to only this year.. when doctor's advised not longer fit...due to wife working ..on high wage he got nothing....there seems there is alot to look at to get the right choice for you self.....have you filled in that thing called ...i think ..entitle to ...on gove web site or google...you put in all about your self and figs and it tells you want you could be entitled too...thats what my brother used..when later on his wife was made redundant then badly broke leg ...still on sick notes ...hope can be of some help to you
