Yes there is nothing to stop you going bankrupt, or geting an IVA, or anything like that. The loan will then be written off, and the bill picked up by the gov under teh 'Garanttees' that have been given by Gov to the strugling banks, and thus back to teh Tax payer, so it goes back to Gov to pick up the tab, as well as house the people that will have lost thier homes in the process.
Well thought out or what?0 -

That is absurd:rolleyes:, I thought the csa were there to make absent fathers (not always absent but you know what I mean;)) pay towards the upbringing of their children so that the tax payer didn't end up footing the bill?

I doubt the loan would be written off in those circumstances - OR is more likely to insist on repayment due to the nature of the bankrupt deliberately trying to avoid repayment.0 -
To be fair the context of the rest of that report is voicing opinion over nrp's who choose not to pay or commit fraud.
whatever the context of the rest of the report is, it still proves that this bent ex copper is still taking no notice of laws and rules.
it is against the FSA's regulations to even SUGGEST taking out credit. this bent g1t is actively condoning and promoting it.
here's how to prove it. next time you're on the phone to them and they "suggest" you take out a loan, ask them if they are a member of the FSA. when they reply "no" tell them you are going to report them for "offering financial advice when not qualified to do so" and that it is a criminal offence................. then listen carefully, cos all you'll hear is the dialling tone.
they know it's illegal. period.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. THEY'LL DRAG YOU DOWN TO THEIR LEVEL AND BEAT YOU WITH EXPERIENCE.
and, please. only thank when appropriate. not to boost idiots egos.0 -
Steve40, Pardon?
when you mentioned penaltys for bad debt you never mentioned a charging order on your home .. As you proably know if you own your home unsecured credit can be attached to it via charging order when you get into arrears .. Ive got 5 charging orders because the CSA took my money away. So they dont need to apply for a liability order to have me and my family chucked out of our home cos they have already made me loose itI only speak of my own experiences. and research that i have carried out whilst dealing with my own case with the child support agency0 -

So all those signs near shop tills saying "we accept visa, mastercard etc" are illegal as the shops are not registered with FSA.0 -

ha ha! nice try. i like that one.:rotfl::T
there's a world of difference between sticking a sign up and telling someone they'll destroy their lives with LO's passport and licence confiscation, homelessness and prison if you DON'T take out a loan/credit card.NEVER ARGUE WITH AN IDIOT. That may not be the case, and anyway, if the Trusttes in Bankrupsy see that you have nothing to take or pay with quite simply they can take nothing! Thus the Gov has shot itself on the foot and will end up paying the bill in the long run. As I say a very well thought out plan of action, that goes something like this;
The gov thinks right we will create a stelth tax to cut the Benefit bill, Ok we will hit NRPs thus getting back the cost of the benefits we pay the PWC. Thata a good idea. So the NRPs become an endanjoured life form! Then the system changes so the NRP can be hunted into extinsion, and the Gov cheered! OH dear the world economy starts to collaps, now gov worried about bad debt but the hard pressed NRPs that are now fighting to stay alive say OK we will pay this money, lets borrow it, as the banks want us to, as for payig it back this way we cant afford to do this. The gov tells its people get the money from the NRPs now, so they do, the NRPs are borrowing the money and cant repay it so they start to go Bankrupt and the banks are now haveing to be told by the gov dont worry if you do what we say we will cover your bad debt. They think about this and then find that they have made a bad situation worse! Well done the Gov and the Banks, more people employed in the ORs office! The Tax payer has to pick up a bill that it had got rid of only this time it is worse as the Tav payer has to pay for housing as well because the NRPs that had lost everything were now out of jobs as well as homes, we saved the day say teh Gov, and the Tax payer grones and pays up!
Sorry to ramble but that is about t in a nutshell!0
