I am new here so please 'handle gently'
I am currently with BG Click Energy 6 which I think is pretty competitive ? I think this is mainly down to the cheap electricity tariffs here in the East Midlands ?
(Tier1 1st 125Kwh per qtr 18.783p. Tier2 All 8.151p)
The gas tariff I believe less competitive
(Tier1 1st 670Kwh per qtr 6.482p. Tier2 All 3.101p)
So, I wondered about staying with BG for my electricity and finding a cheaper gas supplier.
I appreciate I could lose a 'Dual Fuel' discount.
Does anyone else use separate suppliers ? any recommendations ?
Thanks
Glen

Use same as you for electric and Ebico for gas as we use fairly low amount. I'm close to moving again as a couple may be cheaper elsewhere but not had dual fuel for nearly 5 years now as cheaper for me to split0

Welcome to the forum.
The unknown factor - which will determine the best deal - is how much gas you use, and to a lesser extent how you pay your bill; also if you are prepared to accept exit penalties for leaving early.
You can almost certainly get gas a little cheaper from other companies. Even BG's Websaver 4 will give you a saving - and would BG still give you the dual fuel discount???0
