getting a signal for picture frame TV

sorry about the bizzare sounding header question.

Have just bought an elonex picture frame that is a TV as well.Knew about the problems with receiving TV signal on it before I bought it.As I live in a pretty strong signal strength area , thought would risk it.
Cant get a signal at all through the supplied small ariel.
Can get 48 channels when I plug it into the main tv ariel socket.
Am moving house in Nov/Dec that has virgin , so thought would get an extra socket put into the bedroom.
In the meantime , is there any booster that might get me a signal on my picture frame/TV ? , or should I just put it away till I move house and use a proper ariel socket.
Thanks

A Virgin connection will not give a TV signal, it will only relay Virgin Cable material via a Virgin Receiver.
