We have an old back Baxi boiler and have received a couple of quotes to replace we received one for £2,600 for a Worcester then we received another quote for £1,200 but I cant for the life of me remember the type of boiler (it def began with an 'S')
Does anyone know what type of boiler this is and if they are any good compared to a Worcester?
Thanks in advance for any help

Are you saying that you have lost the quote?
P.S. Was it a Sabre boiler?0 -
Cant be that great if it was less than half the quote for the worcester bosch.
I'd stick to Vaillant or Worcester-bosch (favouring vaillant for stainless steel heat exchanger).

i to will say the Vaillant had it in 3 of my homes now not had one bit of a problem
I all way look on the internet to find the best price and get the plumber to fit it
As a plumber all ways puts his bit on
I have just used www plumbing supply services .co.uk0 -
there are at least 3 companies advertising locally here in the NW, worcester or vaillant boilers installed for 1500 quid.Get some gorm.0

Hi - I have found it the type of boiler was a Sime Boiler - after looking at revies I am very very apprehensive about this type as it seems to be receiving negative feedback.
I really want to go for a Worcester Boiler but £2600 is a huge amount of money.0
