Park Home insurance

Help, i live in a 1 bed Park Home and just received the latest quote from my insurer's 'Towergate Bakers'. This is now a staggering £229 for building only, and i cannot find an alternative insurer. I cannot find insurance companies to insure Park Home properties even using insurance compare websites as 'type of property' dropdown lists do not show Park Homes. I approached my present insurer as a new customer but was told they do not insure Park Homes of that age.

Towergate run a scheme for holiday park homes and iirc, the premium does jump once the caravan / structure reaches a certain age. There are very few insurers dealing with this type of property - most do not want to know, hence the premiums are quite high (lack of competition).

Speak to the park operator, see if they have any tie ins with local or national brokers. Also speak to other owners on the same park.
