in Credit cards
I want to change the expiry date and have spoken to Lloyds Customer Service twice and they have promised to do this but each time a new card comes through it has the same old date on it.
Lloyds have also promised to write to me and to phone me about this, but of course zilch, nada, nothing.
Is it possible to change the expiry date, anyone?????????
One other thing, I've got a feeling that all they are doing is inputting that I have lost the card, which I haven't and have told them I haven't but I'm now wondering if this is what they have done and whether it will affect my financial score or whatever it is called.
Can anyone provide any info on this.
Thanks in advance.

Why do you need to change the expiry date?
Can you also please explain what Gold card you are talking about? (Debit or credit).0 -

Don't want to go into too many details.
But it's a genuine reason to change the expiry date.
And it's a CCIt's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -
Could it be that you have entered into a continuous payment authority and are trying to stop the payments by getting a new card?
Sorry but in most cases this would not work.0 -

Card re-issues are not reported to you credit file and hence will not affect you bureau score. Nor will it affect your internal score (unless a fraud marker has been applied). Only motives I can think of is an attempt to stop continuous payments, or not being in the country when the card is due to be re-issued0 -

Thanks for the credit file stuff.
Nothing to do with continuous payments or any dark motives.
I've now been promised for the third time that they will change my expiry date.
Have to wait and see. It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -
I can't see why they would change it and I can't see why you would want to change it so wihout more details I can't see you will get any positive help here.0

The answer to that is simple.
Because they promised to change it.
I cannot see why it has anything to do with you why I want it changed.
Thanks for your help but the answers I have received from others has told me what I wanted to know. It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0 -
seems really strange and like you have too much time on your hands. If it expired fair enough but if its just for a longer expiry date whats it matter unless you feel they may not re-issue0
